2018 Boston Marathon

September 13th, 2017 by

We are now accepting applications for those interested in running the 2018 Boston Marathon for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation!

“Team JAF” has once again been selected to participate in the 2018 John Hancock Non-Profit Marathon Program, and on April 16, 2018 – Marathon Monday – our runners will take strides against cancer through the streets of Boston for the eighth straight year.

Team JAF welcomes applications from those seeking a charity bib, as well as runners anticipating to receive entries through qualification or outside invitations. Those seeking charity bibs are required to raise a minimum of $8,500 for the Foundation, while qualified and invitational runners must pledge to exceed $1,500 in order to become a member of Team JAF.

All fundraising by Team JAF runners directly supports the Foundation’s mission of providing help, hope, and a reason to smile for New England cancer patients and their families.

Team JAF runners are also encouraged to spread our (Up)Beat philosophy as they fundraise and compete, showing how a positive attitude can conquer any hurdle.

To fill out our online application, click the link below (a $50 fee applies to all applicants).

Each year Team JAF is comprised of first-time runners, experienced marathoners, individuals touched by cancer, and friends who want to fundraise for and represent JAF while participating in one of the most elite road races in the world.

We hope you’ll come along for the ride!
