On May 22nd , 2017, an incredible team will be setting out on a life changing mission to climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro – raising funds and awareness for five (5) charities, including the Joe Andruzzi Foundation. Although summiting this mountain would be an amazing feat for anyone, for 22-year-old Timothy Conners, it is especially meantingful. At 15-years-old, a near-fatal cancer diagnosis took so much away from Tim, including his ability to walk and see. Despite his circumstances, Tim continued to fight back against all odds – including bouts with heart, lung, and kidney failure, which almost took him from this world. Now, he wants to give back.
Tim – who met Joe Andruzzi years ago during a hospital visit in Boston – has partnered with K2 Adventures Foundation to climb Mount Kilimanjaro next May, raising awareness and $100,000 each for five non-profit organizations along the way. We’re so grateful that Tim has chosen the Joe Andruzzi Foundation as a beneficiary of his mission, and we ask that you visit his website to learn more about his journey: http://mountimpossible.com/.
