GivingTuesday Now, a day of giving and unity taking place on May 5, was created as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
While we have all been impacted by the pandemic, the fact is, the patients and families that JAF serves are being disproportionately hurt. With their immune systems already weakened from treatment, cancer patients face a higher risk of possible infection from the virus. The financial hardship faced by most cancer patients and their families before COVID-19 has ballooned under the economic instability caused by the pandemic.
GivingTuesday Now provides the opportunity for JAF supporters to come together as a united community. Our friends at Bob’s Discount Furniture have already committed to be our matching gift partner for the day, which means every donation made will be doubled, up to $25,000.
We are also asking for your help in sharing messages of hope and unity for GivingTuesday Now. Simply download and print this “GivingTuesday Now Because…” sign to share your reason for supporting JAF. Take a photo with your personal message and post on social media, making sure to tag the Joe Andruzzi Foundation and #GivingTuesdayNow.
