Chris Checksfield
Director
Chris is a proud board member of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation and the parent of two children, ages 9 and 11. Outside of work, much of his time is spent on the road, traveling between their games and practices and cheering them on. In 2013, he founded a company that later became one of Massachusetts’ fastest‑growing businesses in 2021 and 2022, and he sold the business in 2022.
An outdoor enthusiast, he loves hiking, golf, and snowmobiling, and he draws energy and balance from spending time in nature. He is excited to bring his passion for business operations and strategic growth to the Foundation, helping strengthen programs and maximize impact for the families and individuals the organization serves.
What drove you to become a supporter of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation?
I became a supporter of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation after meeting Joe at several fundraisers and being deeply moved by his story and the stories of the families the Foundation has helped. Seeing the practical, compassionate relief the organization provides inspired me to be more than a donor — I want to help ensure families can focus on healing, not finances.
Fun Fact about Chris
