‘Tis the season for good tidings and cheer!
As the Joe Andruzzi Foundation team wraps up a year unlike any other, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who make our mission possible. From individual donors and organizations that generously allocate their resources to our programs to the cancer care teams that help connect patients to our services, this collaborative support is invaluable. Giving comes in various forms, including monetary donations and acts of service, often from the same households and institutions.
In this month’s e-newsletter, you’ll read about recent acts of kindness, including a few from one of our closest partners, Bob’s Discount Furniture and from our Team JAF Athletes who traverse countless miles to help spread our mission throughout many communities across multiple states.
While we have so much to celebrate, we also take this moment to reflect on why Joe and I co-founded JAF: to support the thousands of households facing hardships due to cancer. Each year, our commitment strengthens to ensure that no cancer patient has to choose between accessing potentially lifesaving treatment and taking care of their family’s daily living expenses.
This holiday season, please take a moment to envision a world where cancer patients and their families never have to worry about how to put food on the table or how to get to their next oncology appointment. Let’s carry forward good tidings and cheer into 2026!

GivingTuesday Impact
Thanks to your incredible generosity, GivingTuesday and MatchingWednesday raised $33,787.71, bringing comfort, joy, and hope to cancer patients and families across New England. Support poured in from our local communities, first-time donors, patient advocates, and even families who have received help from JAF. A special thank-you to Bob’s Discount Furniture, whose TRIPLE Match helped fund Patient Ambassador shopping sprees for families in every New England state.

Third Party Wrap Up
As we reflect on an incredible 2025 at the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF), one of the brightest highlights has been the unwavering generosity of our friends, family, and ambassadors across New England. Together, you hosted over 50 fundraising events throughout the year, turning passion and creativity into vital support for cancer patients facing financial hardships.
From intimate backyard dinners that brought neighbors together for shared meals and stories, to thrilling golf tournaments on sunny greens, high-energy ice hockey games filled with cheers, exciting car meets showcasing classic rides, and joyful holiday parties ringing in the season with hope—these events captured the true spirit of community. No matter what the format, every gathering was a testament to what happens when people decide to make a difference: they go above and beyond.
Thanks to your extraordinary efforts, our Supporter-Hosted Events raised over $260,000 in 2025! These funds directly ease the financial toxicity of cancer, helping patients so they can focus on healing and spending precious time with loved ones this holiday season.
