That was the day – 10 years ago today – that we found out the Joe Andruzzi Foundation had received 501(c)(3) approval status from the IRS, marking our official launch into the non-profit industry. At the time, we had four children, two staff members, and our “headquarters” was located in the guest bedroom of our home.
Today, we have five kids, 13 staff members, 13 board members, and an office that doesn’t include a bed – although, sometimes we wish it did when the morning coffee starts to wear off.
Needless to say, we would not be where we are today without the countless supporters, friends, family, volunteers, sponsors, and donors that make up our history. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning, or you’re a new friend, thank you for being a part of JAF.
