2023 Boston Marathon®

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is thrilled to announce we will have a team of 21 dedicated athletes participating in the 127th Boston Marathon as members of Team JAF! Runners will take to the starting line on Monday, April 17, representing Team JAF and bringing awareness to the Foundation’s mission to help provide assistance to patients of all ages throughout New England who are experiencing financial barriers as a result of a cancer diagnosis.

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is proud to be an official Partner of John Hancock in the Marathon Non-Profit Program. The Non-Profit Program provides over 1000 Boston Marathon® bibs to select non-profit organizations throughout the community. The John Hancock Marathon Non-Profit Program provides organizations with a significant fundraising opportunity and JAF is so grateful to once again be one of their chosen charities!

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation will observe all the health and safety regulations and protocols set forth by the race directors and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

 
 

Please note: The B.A.A. encourages all participants to be fully up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations prior to participating in the 127th Boston Marathon©. At this time, proof of vaccination will not be required for participation in the 2023 Boston Marathon®. However, all participants are expected to follow B.A.A. protocols and procedures related to COVID-19 mitigation and public health including, but not limited to, potential proof of negative testing, potential proof of vaccination, and wearing a face mask in designated areas. B.A.A. COVID-19 mitigation efforts are subject to change and will be guided by policies and procedures established by the CDC, state, and local public health officials in the lead up to April’s event.
