Participate in the 2023 Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon as a member of Team JAF!
The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is honored to be an Official Charity Partner of the Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon, which has raised more than $8.9 million for local charities since the event began in 1994. This year marks the 30th running of this premier marathon and half marathon event in Connecticut.
Team JAF is recruiting charity athletes of all abilities to participate in either the in-person event on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Hartford, CT, or the virtual at-home edition. Participants can choose to complete the marathon, half marathon, team marathon relay, or 5K. Additionally, JAF is looking for volunteers to help support this event in Hartford. All fundraising by Team JAF athletes directly supports the Foundation’s mission of providing help, hope, and a reason to smile, for New England cancer patients and their families.
NOTE: if you’re applying for the team marathon relay, you will need a team of two (2) to five (5) runners to participate.

By applying to Team JAF as a Charity Athlete* you commit to the fundraising minimum based on the race option you choose as follows: Marathon ($750), Half Marathon ($500), 5K ($400), and Individual Marathon Relay Participants ($400).
All Team JAF Charity Athletes will receive the following benefits:

• Paid race registration/entry fee

• Training guidance/plan

*Interested runners who have already registered for the Eversource Hartford Marathon and paid their registration/entry fee may also join Team JAF and receive the same benefits as Team JAF athletes, except the paid registration/entry fee. Fundraising minimums for these Registered athletes are Marathon ($400), Half Marathon ($300), or 5K and Individual Marathon Relay Participants ($250).
