Participate in the 2024 Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon as a RUNNER or VOLUNTEER and represent the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) in Connecticut!
JAF is honored to be chosen, for the 2nd year in a row, as an Official Charity Partner of the Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon, which has raised more than $8.9 million for local charities since the event began in 1994. This year marks the 30th running of this premier marathon and half marathon event in Connecticut.
RUNNER
Team JAF is recruiting charity athletes of all abilities to participate in either the in-person event on Saturday, October 18, 2024, in Hartford, CT, or the virtual at-home edition in the following events: Marathon, Team Marathon Relay (26.2)*, Half Marathon, 5K.
*NOTE: if you’re applying for the team marathon relay, you will need a team of two (2) to five (5) runners to participate. Each participant will need to fill out an application
By joining Team JAF, you commit to the fundraising minimum based on your chosen race.
- Charity Bib (you have not officially registered for the Eversource Hartford Marathon and will need one of JAF’s Charity Bibs)
- Marathon ($750)
- Individual Marathon Relay Participants ($400).
- Half Marathon ($500)
- 5K ($250)
- Registered Bib (you have already registered for the Eversource Hartford Marathon and paid your registration/entry fee but would like to join Team JAF)
- Marathon ($325)
- Individual Marathon Relay Participants ($200)
- Half Marathon ($250)
- 5K ($200)

ALL Team JAF Athletes (charity and registered) will receive the following benefits:

VOLUNTEER
As an official charity partner of the Eversource Hartford Marathon, we are required to recruit 20 volunteers to support the event. Volunteer activities may include but are not limited to Course Monitors, Runner Bag collectors, and Registration/expo help.
ALL JAF volunteers will receive JAF Swag and have the opportunity to meet the JAF Team (staff and athletes) on race day in charity village.
