Since 2008, JAF has stepped in to ease that burden by helping patients of any age and with any type of cancer cover everyday expenses—rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation to treatment. JAF grants often arrive at a critical moment, helping a family stay in their home, ensuring the heat and lights stay on through winter, or making sure a patient never misses a potentially life-saving appointment.
