On Saturday, April 1, 2023, the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) will have a team participating in the Behan Bros. Newport Night Run in Newport, RI!
Team JAF is comprised of eight (8) athletes, dedicated to raising funds and awareness for JAF while participating in this fun 5k event in beautiful Newport. All funds raised through Team JAF’s Newport Night Run will support Rhode Island cancer patients and their families with everyday household expenses. So, whether you walk or run the race, you’ll give cancer patients help, hope, and a reason to smile!
This year’s Newport Night Run falls on Rhode Island’s annual day of giving – 401 Gives. JAF is participating and is offering the opportunity to receive a match to all funds raised through this race. That means everything raised will be MATCHED, dollar-for-dollar!
Since 2008, the Foundation has provided more than $750,000 to Rhode Island residents and their families undergoing cancer treatment. Team JAF athletes play a critical role in raising funds and awareness around JAF’s mission to address the hidden cost of cancer across New England.
