The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is excited to announce that on April 6, 2024, we will once again have a team participating in the BehanBros Newport Night Run/walk in Newport, RI as a part of our 401Gives Initiative!
401Gives is Rhode Island’s annual day of giving and this is the third year JAF has participated in this charitable event. In support of our 401Gives initiative, Team JAF is currently recruiting 8 athletes – of all abilities- who are dedicated to raising funds and awareness for JAF while participating in this fun 5k event in beautiful Newport. All funds raised through Team JAF’s Newport Night Run will go towards our 401Gives goal and will be MATCHED, dollar-for-dollar!
Team JAF athletes play a critical role in raising funds and creating awareness for JAF to address the hidden cost of cancer that is impacting families across New England. All funds raised by our Team JAF athletes will directly support the Foundation’s mission of providing help, hope, and a reason to smile for cancer patients and their families.

By applying to Team JAF you commit to fundraising a minimum of $250 (before the dollar-for-dollar match)
All Team JAF athletes – will receive the following:
- Paid BehanBros Newport Night Run Registration Fee (charity entry only).
- Personalized fundraising page, along with fundraising support and guidance.
- Training guidance/plan.
- Team JAF race day shirt.
- Weekly correspondence from the Foundation – including inspirational communication about our mission and the patients/families we serve…
… and of course, the most amazing JAF cheerleaders leading up to and on your race day!
