Linda is battling pancreatic cancer and undergoing harsh chemotherapy that leaves her spending most of her time in bed. Living on a limited Social Security income, she couldn’t afford to replace her 20-year-old, uncomfortable mattress. Thanks to our GivingTuesday donors and the incredible support of Bob’s Discount Furniture, Linda received a brand-new bed last year—giving her the comfort she desperately needed during treatment. In addition, JAF was able to provide a Food Security Grant to ensure Linda had access to nutritious meals while she focused on healing.
