East Commerce Solutions CEO Ed Medeiros, and his wife Lisa, President of ECS, have been two of JAF’s most generous benefactors. The partnership between ECS and JAF began in 2010, when JAF was just two years old. Since then, ECS and the Medeiroses have donated an astounding $1.25 million to JAF, surpassing the $1 million mark in 2020. Since 2014, ECS has been the presenting sponsor of the annual Joe Andruzzi & Friends Golf Tournament, and they are also a major sponsor of JAF’s annual Gala at Gillette Stadium.
In 2021, Ed also made a major gift to JAF’s Food Security Program, JAF’s fourth pillar of support and the newest way the Foundation helps patients and families living with cancer.

ECS assists many local charities, but the Medeiroses have a personal connection because they have lost many family members to cancer.
“We support over 25 different non-profits, but you don’t always find the same level of passion that you see from JAF – they know the patients they help, and they know their stories. The entire organization is welcoming, willing to help, and really cares about the people they assist.”
