The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is fortunate to have Golf Fights Cancer (GFC) as a partner organization and is grateful for our shared commitment to helping cancer patients and their families when they need it the most – and in any way we’re able.
JAF has received more than $460,000 in support from GFC to support JAF’s programs, specifically for Patient & Family Support and Treatment Access. GFC’s support has impacted cancer patients and their family members, caregivers, and healthcare staff, who all travel on the cancer journey together. These families may take different paths but often encounter the same challenges and experience the same emotions.
When the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) teams up with Golf Fights Cancer (GFC) as a partner organization, amazing things happen when it comes to supporting cancer patients and their family members. With GFC’s support, JAF patient recipients have received critical support for rent/mortgage, utilities, food, transportation to treatment, extraordinary needs, and physical and mental health resources.

JAF has fielded a team in the Golf Marathon for several years as part of its Team JAF, which is made up of fundraising athletes. Jen Andruzzi has joined the 2025 Team! We welcome golfers to the team for a great day of golf, friendship and fun in support of patients throughout New England.
“The Golf Marathon is always a good time!” said Joe Andruzzi, Co-Founder and Chief Engagement Officer. “It’s a great way to spend the day alongside golfers, cancer survivors, and our other friends in the nonprofit space, all for an important cause.”
Golf Fights Cancer played an instrumental role for JAF in 2020 during the pandemic—their grant of $200,000 proved to be a lifeline to the Foundation and the patients it serves.
The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) was honored to have been an official charity of Golf Fights Cancer’s (GFC) 2024 Golf Marathon and is grateful for their generosity and support of our mission – which is to help New England cancer patients and their families when they need it the most.
Team JAF was excited to participate in the 2025 Golf Fights Cancer Golf Marathon and raised close to $30,000. 100% of those funds will directly support JAF programs.
