When the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) teams up with Golf Fights Cancer (GFC) as a partner organization, amazing things happen when it comes to supporting cancer patients and their family members. Since the partnership began in 2019, Golf Fights Cancer has donated almost $400,000 to help fund JAF’s programming. Because of their support, JAF patient recipients received critical support for rent/mortgage, utilities, food, transportation to treatment, extraordinary needs, and physical and mental health resources.

“The Foundation is incredibly grateful for our partnership with Golf Fights Cancer,” said Jen Andruzzi, President and CEO. Through their incredibly successful Golf Marathon, Golf Fights Cancer has convened many participants who are passionate about helping others facing a cancer diagnosis and created a creatively fun way to do it!”

JAF has fielded a team in the Golf Marathon for many years as part of its Team JAF group of fundraising athletes, with both Joe and Jen Andruzzi taking turns playing!

“The Golf Marathon is always a good time!” said Joe Andruzzi, Co-Founder and Chief Engagement Officer. “It’s a great way to spend the day alongside golfers, cancer survivors, and our other friends in the nonprofit space, all for an important cause.”

Golf Fights Cancer played an instrumental role for JAF in 2020 during the pandemic—their grant of $200,000 proved to be a lifeline to the Foundation and the patients it serves.
