A JAF Partner since 2017

Granite Telecommunications has partnered with JAF since 2017 when the company joined JAF’s Champions Circle, a giving society that celebrates companies and business leaders who commit to cancer patients and their families through an annual gift. Granite Telecommunications and its CEO, Rob Hale, have donated millions to many nonprofit organizations, and JAF is so proud to recognize their contributions of more than $485,000 to the Foundation.

Since 2019, Granite Telecommunications has welcomed Joe Andruzzi and the Foundation to join the Saving by Shaving event. This annual fundraiser brings participants together, shaving their heads to raise critical funds benefiting cancer-related causes. Since inception, this event has raised $55 million and JAF is honored to participate!

Granite is also a premier sponsor of JAF’s annual Gala at Gillette Stadium.

To further show their commitment to JAF and New England cancer patients, in 2022, Rob and his wife, Karen Hale set out to gift $52 million to 52 smaller nonprofits, with the majority being grassroots organizations.  As highlighted in Forbes Magazine in October 2022, the Hales donated $1 million to JAF as part of their latest initiative, allowing the Foundation to establish its first ever endowment. This very generous gift demonstrates to all that as an organization, JAF is positioned well for long-term sustainability and building assets for its own future. Thank you, Rob and Karen!
