Shannon Gallanty
Assistant Director of Patient and Family Assistance
Shannon is JAF’s Assistant Director of Patient and Family Assistance. In her role, Shannon manages the Foundation’s Financial Assistance and Extraordinary Needs Assistance, its expansion throughout New England, and oversees the relationships between JAF and its New England healthcare partners.
One of the aspects Shannon loves about her position is coming up with new ideas on how the Foundation can help cancer patients through its Financial Assistance. Knowing what she does helps immediately impacts patients when they need it most motivates Shannon daily.
Shannon joined JAF upon graduating from Syracuse University in 2015. She interned at the school’s athletic communications office and several other non-profit organizations in Massachusetts. Outside the office, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and always looks for that new candle scent to add to her home.
