Apotho Therapeutics and Frankies International Bistro represent the Medeiros Family, who have been generous supporters of JAF since 2010.
Apotho Therapeutics was established in September 2018 with one goal, to make a positive impact on the future of the cannabis industry. Its team is made up of individuals who are committed, curious, creative, and eager to keep innovation and efficiency alive. Their process starts with focusing on researching and understanding the science of cannabis to ensure they are distributing the best products possible.
Apotho Therapeutics has committed $115,000 to JAF since 2018 as a corporate supporter and golf tournament sponsor.
Frankies International Bistro is a restaurant that serves food from all over the world. Its menu is crafted to highlight locally sourced foods, farm raised, and organic produce. It also supports JAF’s Golf Tournament and is owned by Ed and Lisa Medeiros.
A Partnership Story, Since 2010
JAF is grateful to Ed Medeiros, and his wife Lisa, who have been two of JAF’s most generous benefactors. Ed and Lisa owned East Commerce Solutions (ECS) and in 2022, JAF was pleased to recognize that ECS and the Medeiros Family had donated an astounding $1.25 million to JAF, surpassing the $1 million mark in 2020. Since 2014, ECS has remained the Presenting Sponsor of the Annual Joe Andruzzi & Friends Golf Tournament, and they’ve been a Lead Sponsor of JAF’s Annual Gala.
In 2021, Ed made a major gift to JAF’s Food Security Program as it was officially launched across all New England states after a successful, year-long pilot in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This program has grown exponentially over its 4-year history and has provided $1,250,000 in food assistance.
ECS was a generous supporter of many local charities committed to a variety of causes. Their sincere dedication to JAF is appreciated beyond measure as it reflects their own experiences with cancer and personal losses to the disease.
