There is no minimum amount that you need to raise! We are grateful for all funds raised by our supporters as they directly help the cancer patients and their families that JAF serves.
Once approved, JAF will provide you with a fundraising toolkit which includes everything you need to promote your fundraiser and create awareness for JAF’s mission. The toolkit includes: a flyer, donation letter sample, talking points, posters of JAF patient recipients, approved JAF logos and more!
While you are responsible for the planning and execution of your fundraiser, JAF will provide advice and suggestions, as time allows. For all contributions made payable and submitted directly to JAF, we will provide acknowledgement and tax receipts for your records. Lastly, a fundraising platform to help you accept gifts is also available when JAF will receive 100% of the proceeds from your event.
JAF will rely on you to manage and execute all details of your fundraiser. Keep in mind, some larger events may require pre-planning such as: obtaining permits, volunteer support, solicitation of sponsor to underwrite related costs, print event materials or virtual platforms (i.e., Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.). While JAF will be available to provide guidance for these areas, you would be responsible for securing these elements for your fundraiser.
