At Thanksgiving, the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is most grateful for you, our community of donors, partners, and volunteers. Every utility bill paid, every ride to treatment provided, every grocery card we send to a family with nothing left after paying medical expenses – YOU are the reason we can do that. JAF frequently shares the impact you have on patients. What you don’t always see is your donation’s impact on the JAF team.
Every day, the JAF staff is full of appreciation and excitement with news of donor support, with some team members even shouting out when gifts arrive! Our team knows who you are. They talk about you by name. They can state how you became a donor, the event you hosted for us, or how long you’ve been coming to Gala or Golf. This team prides itself on the relationships it builds.

JAF Delivers Food and Smiles to Cancer Patients for Thanksgiving
The JAF team was on the road Monday, November 20, as the Foundation partnered with Personal Best Charity to deliver Thanksgiving meals to 71 local cancer patients sponsored by North Easton Savings Bank.
JAF also added dessert pies from Flaky Crust in Norton, Whisk and Paddle in North Attleboro, Colwen Hotels in Foxboro, My Grandma’s Bakery in Hyde Park, and Phantom Farms in Cumberland, RI. The Foundation thanks our generous supporters and volunteers for helping make sure cancer patients and their families have food on the table for Thanksgiving.

Join JAF and Bob’s Discount Furniture this GivingTuesday on Tuesday, November 28, to support New England cancer patients and their families!
Thanks to our friends at Bob’s, all GivingTuesday donations made to JAF will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000! Also, Bob’s will give a brand new mattress to a JAF patient recipient for every $2,500 raised–up to 10 mattresses total!

Joe spent time chatting and taking pictures to help make these patients’ cancer journey a little less stressful that day. The team also delivered care packages complete with superhero masks so patients in the infusion units could get in on the fun!
Patient Profile: Jessica
JAF’s most recent Patient Profile is Jessica, a Foundation grant recipient and cancer patient who was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer in August 2022. Patient Profiles share the heartwarming stories about the individuals the Foundation has assisted and their unique and inspiring journeys.
UnBELIEVEable Night at JAF Gala
On Thursday, October 26, JAF hosted our 16th Annual Gala at the breathtaking Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, MA. It was a memorable night for the more than 300 in-person and virtual guests, as the Foundation raised more than $725,000 for cancer patients and their families!
We are thankful for the incredible generosity and support our donors have given us as JAF continues to help remove financial barriers for cancer patients throughout New England. Thank you for BELIEVE-ing in JAF!
Hop Over to True North Ale Company with JAF
JAF will host our final Hop Over of 2023 at True North Ale Company in Ipswich, MA, on Thursday, December 7, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Join Joe and the Foundation team for a fun night enjoying local beer, food, and music! All proceeds will support JAF’s mission to provide help, hope, and a reason to smile, to New England cancer patients and family members.

JAF Night at the Providence Bruins
Come enjoy a fun night out and support JAF’s mission by watching the Providence Bruins take on the Bridgeport Islanders on Friday, December 1, at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, RI.
A portion of all tickets purchased online, 50/50, silent auction, and other items will go towards supporting the Foundation’s mission.
