Katie Haidemenos
Patient & Family Support Supervisor
Katie is the Foundation’s Patient & Family Support Supervisor, connecting daily with JAF’s patient grant recipients and their caregivers. This role includes managing the Foundation’s Mission Ambassadors – supporters, patients, and healthcare partners who share their stories to support JAF’s mission.
Katie also coordinates JAF’s Wellness Opportunities – activities and services that give patients and families emotional support and relief. With cancer diagnoses having directly impacted her family, Katie understands the importance of patients focusing on treatment, recovery, and quality time with their loved ones. Through each phone call and email, Katie is determined to fulfill her passion for providing cancer patients with hope and light.
She graduated from Regis College in 2015 with a degree in social work. Prior to JAF, Katie served as the Director of Campus Ministry at a local Catholic high school and as a coach for its girls’ field hockey and lacrosse teams. Katie also volunteers at other organizations like FRIENDS WAY as a child bereavement group facilitator and a CREATOR at PeaceLove Studios—facilitating expressive arts workshops for various populations. Katie is a proud dog mom to her doodles Pippa and Jackson.
