What drove you to become a supporter of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation?
A deep and personal connection to [JAF’s] mission. Joe came to see my sister back in December 2018 and it was the highlight of her journey. I still look back at the pictures and see her smile on that day. JAF does so much for so many in the community and I was able to witness this wonderful work firsthand.
What is your favorite thing about being a JAF Board Member?
Being part of a mission that is near to my heart fuels me. I am privileged to be able to work beside passionate and dedicated board, staff and volunteers who help cancer patients and their families through a very difficult time. I have always wanted to give back and JAF is the place for me.
List a “fun fact” about yourself that others may be surprised to learn.
I am very competitive. I have hardly ever “let” my boys win at games and sports unless they earned it on their own. I would let them win an occasional token to keep their confidence up.
